Wordsilk: A spin on words.

This is the rough draft design I came up with about 20 minutes ago, for a new project.

What do you all think? Does it work well in all browsers/resolutions?

Looks good in Firefox @ 1280x1024.

What are you supposed to do at the site? :P

Looks good to me, i have same specs as Poe.

I'm suprised theres no space reserved for adverts (adsense etc), just something to think about.

Logo is very wordpress.

Looks fine/ nice in Opera at 1024x768

Wordsilk ~= Wordpress? I sure think so.

Also a problem is going to be those boxes you have going on, same as Xplicid has above me. Ideally your target resolution should be 800x, but the norm these days is 1024x. It won't be long, however, until the norm is 1280x you're going to have to fix that.

However, nice layout. Digg inspired. Less Helvetica, more contrasting font families and colours. Try and make the heading tags a different colour.
