I was told about iStockPhoto by a friend, its really good, you have to buy the photos though, but they have a wide selection of things. __________________________________ |

I use sxc.hu for most of my stock photos, if I ever want to use one. These days since I've got myself a semi decent 5mpx camera, I'd probably want to get proper images of things I want to put into a website.
To be honest, I barely ever use them as I think the whole idea of them is best kept for big corporations as it promotes (?) the faceless image. __________________________________ |

I got myself a 10megapixel SLR. But then again that is because I do photography...I thought about joining a stock photo thing but never really got round to it.

http://www.yotophoto.com is pretty good, searches multiple sites.
Iphoto's image quality looks exceptional, you begin to wonder how a photographer can make good money when sites sell their work for such low prices. __________________________________ |

Stock photo websites are more orientated towards the freelance community to be fair, which is why you see professional photographers who make the big bucks work in their own company and get themselves self employed.

iStockPhoto is truly great, and has some very nice icons for webmasters as well. :D
